Came back from an errand and noticed a new-to-me panel gap. I could see it from a mile away... I don’t see any real damage, but it looks like I’ll need to take off the bumper. Should I just buy new clips too?
I mean I could just leave it but... [eye twitches]
That chasm!!!

Nooooo!
Alternatively: That’s what you get for buying a car with such perfect panel gaps. You see every little imperfection.

That’s a shame. People suck. Hope you’re able nto get it straightened out without too much hassle.
Time to start stuffing our bumper covers with recalled Takata airbags. “Front Toward Enemy”

No paint damage, right?
When I had a MB C43, the prior owner did this by hanging it up on a parking barrier. I had it fixed after purchase - a body shop did it for me for just over $100, if I remember right. Worth it to avoid hours of hassle.

Paint is fine, there are some scrapes down low that have been there since I bought it. It’s not the cleanest car out there, but this gap irks me.

It would drive me nuts too. Easy fix anyway, could be worse. This could devolve into an entire day’s work, unless you want that, maybe get an estimate if you know a good shop who will squeeze in a small job.

BAD SOMEBODY! BAD SOMEBODY!
Ah, well. Some flex tape should fix it right up! Jus t be sure to get the clear roll, instead of the black.

Your car was asking for it, dressed like that and it’s been drinking unleaded all day, so what did you expect?

chickenshits who do that and bail should be fed to hippos. someone backed into my aunt’s brand-new Fusion early last year, popping the sides of the rear bumper cover out and bending the trunk hinges.
what made that insult to injury is that it happened in the parking lot of the assisted-living facility we were leaving just after my grandmother passed away.

Hmmm. Honda Bro comes back out of the blue and your bumper gets booped. Coincidence? I think not!

Sometimes that stuff just works loose. Hopefully you can clip it back to where it should be.

Sounds like you need to boop them back. In the face. With a brick. Or a chandelier.
